Upload it to a free file hosting service (FileDropper, DropBox, Box, RapidShare, ...) and attach the link here (or send me private message with the link).
Thx.

All it took was a simple re-boot to get MM5 to play to my Audio Chromecast. It also plays through the Chromecast Ultra on my TV with a display of the album cover, the album title, album artist and track name. Is it possible to get MM5 to display lyrics on the TV if the track has them? I also think it would be better if it displayed track artist rather than album artist; surely that is possible.

Hi Ludek

I don't think anyone is monitoring https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=25

I put an issue there a while back but no reply. There hasn't been an update to the Android app forever. I haven't been able to sync it for several months. It just doesn't work!

I also noticed a new issue with MM5. When I cast, the sound is fine but when I listen on my PC speakers, the sound can change when I click on another screen, away from MM. The bass falls out and massive treble kicks in. When I click back onto MM, the sound quality returns.

I have put a video here: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AoM1UrOaoKUMj5tjmiwBjbt5394IRw

I don't see your topic there. I see that the MMA forum is active and our support team (Peke, Lowlander) is constantly replying it / monitoring it.

I don't see why clicking on another screen should have in impact on audio output. If you go to Options > Player > Output-Plugins ... which plugin you have selected? DirectSound, WASAPI, waveOut ? Does the issue happen with all the plugins?

BTW: These issues are unrelated to casting -- so feel free to enter another separate topic for these.

Hi team - the issue of my Google Cast being thrown off is back again. I'm disconnecting regularly.

Where is the debug app so I can send you what's happening?

ok - i'm back. I'm running the demo version of Windows 11. Don't know if that explains the issue.

In this debug file you can see i dropped of the Google Cast a few times, same issue as initially reported: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoM1UrOaoKUMk549w7R ... A?e=4FIOvy

MM says the speakers are unavailable - they are.

Hi,
in the log I see that until the 4128.46 seconds the device (Living Room speaker) was sending its MEDIA_STATUS "PLAYING" every second, but the last one was with song position 468.42026 seconds (out of 581.512) and then for 10 seconds the device sent no MEDIA_STATUS message and then again "PLAYING" with position 469.42, so it played just 1 second of the track during the 10 seconds? Or something paused it in between? Later it never replied our requests and finally sent "CLOSE" at 4185 seconds in the log.

So there must be a network issue or maybe a third party device could interact with the "Living Room speaker" while MM was casting? Is the issue random and not specific to the track being casted?

Could you please re-try casting the file 'D:\OneDrive\Music\LEPROUS\Coal\7 - Leprous - Echo.mp3' to see whether it is specific to the file? Maybe the file length (more than 581 seconds) has something to do with this?

Hi Ludek

Doesn't seem to be that track. I played it and then skipped to a playlist. No issues today. I have noticed this issue less since the most recent build was released the other day.

Hi again

I had a more serious crash just now. I've added a PowerPoint with screen shots and a new debug file here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoM1UrOaoKUMk6RfEWG ... Q?e=oUTveL

Hi team

We're still losing connection to Google Audio cast. Debug here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoM1UrOaoKUMk549w7R ... A?e=Jkm23S

Hi,
in the debug log file I see again that the "Living Room speaker (Chromecast Audio)" stopped replying our GET_STATUS messages suddenly for some reason. I have a hypotesis why this could happen, please open eSupport ticket for this issue and put the ticket ID here so that we can solve it separatelly. I'll send you testing stuff then to confirm my hypotesis/fix via the ticket.

Thanks!
