Window placement problems at 4K & 200% scaling [#16343]

Post by pbryanw »

Hi, I've recently upgraded to a 27" 4K monitor. I'm using 200% scaling in Windows 10 1909 with the new monitor, at 3840 x 2160 resolution.

However, it appears the window placement in MM5 has gone slightly wrong with these settings - opened windows now appear in the bottom-left, and mostly off-screen, on my display. I can drag the windows back on screen, but their positions aren't remembered.

Here's a screenshot of my problem: https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArFVkgMSc1NUj-oIrtS ... A?e=g7cx7w

I'm just wondering if I can do anything to correct this, or whether something needs changing/fixing in MM5 (I'm using beta 2226)?

Many thanks, Paul

Hi, I've noticed a re-occurrence of my original problem, (or a similar issue), with contextual menus placed incorrectly and being partly drawn. The only trigger seems to be that I've left MM5 playing in the background - minimised - for a long period of time, before returning to it. I'm still using my monitor at 4K resolution and 200% scaling. Closing, then reopening MM5, fixes this issue for me.

Here's a screenshot of the problem (hosted on my OneDrive): https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArFVkgMSc1NUkJMHw43 ... g?e=vwyoNg

Thanks again, Paul
