Output Volume

Post by Piko »

out of sheer accident i found out that winamp tends to be twice as loud in volume as mediamonkey. Is there a louder output for the inbuilt mediamonkey player? now matter what settings i change i can't get it anywhere near winamp's volume, and i don't particularly want to use winamp as my player.

anyone give me some help or advice? = )

you said no matter what settings you adjust?

so you found the settings for volume playback?

you might need to find an plugin that use's audio gain.?
muse pack does that .

you also might need to do a volume level anaylize of the songs.
and turn on the vol level playback.

there might be some other plugins you can use or adjust. but i can
not think of them at this moment. maybe some one else can. 8)

Check (in MediaMonkey):
- Main volume (set to 100%)
- Equalizer's preamp (0 dB > can be set higher)
- Equalizer's frequency-volumes (0 dB > can be set higher)
- Replay gain (try turning it off)
- Input plugin's settings (if available, set volume to normal)
- Output plugin's settings (if available, set volume to normal)
Extensions: ExternalTools, ExtractFields, SongPreviewer, LinkedTracks, CleanImport, and some other scripts (Need Help with Addons > List of All Scripts).
