Wow, strange! You get the same result with HTML and XLS? What settings are you using? You could email me a screenshot of DAT file if you like.

well, me again, found the error and your script runs smoothly again, sorry for having disturbed (i should have checked the log more consequently)
It was just a stupid fault from my side.... as i use Playlists to create nodes to order my Auto-Playlists and somehow there were both a parent playlist and an Auto-Playlist with the same name, this has produced a endless recursion in your script... i don't have to explain more
thanks againg for your great work. Best Regards. Christophe.

Ah, I see. I've always found recursing through playlists a tricky thing to do, I'll see if I can improve it in the next version.

Great and Thanks!
Are you going to address the XML root-node as well ?

Unfortunately I didn't see this until I'd posted the new version, so this will have to wait until the next version, but I will look at it.

TM:
In your Duplicate Report script there is an option to run the report with the previous settings, would this be possible for CR also??

Well technically this was actually written by the developer who's taken over ownership of the script, but I'm sure I can do something similar!

Hi Trix, Got a question if you could help out with as this has been looping me for about a week now.
I tried inserting a mask for the m3u for <track##> for my mp3s to organize them but do not like the setting because of the following reason
when I open the m3u in my labeling program to make jacket sleeves it now shows
1. 01 [128bpm] songname.mp3
I can have the songs properly labeled the way I want them now if I have 2 folders and want two different folders and corresponding track numbers (1-25) on the cd but the prefix 1. to 50. is reoccuring. Hope it makes sense. Here is a better example
1. 01 [128bpm] songname.mp3
2. 02 [128bpm] songname.mp3
3. 03 [128bpm] songname.mp3
4. 01 [128bpm] songname.mp3
5. 02 [128bpm] songname.mp3
6. 03[128bpm] songname.mp3
I really would rather not use the <track##> mask as it clutters the title tags and I am using this for a CDJ turntable so space and time is valuable. I would like to just have the M3U label the numbers correctly and possibly with 01 instead of 1. format for all numbers as I am just using this data to print track listing labels for the jacket but do not want to manually have to edit every m3u as its imported into the label program. More manual labor=longer times and greater chances of errors
But thanks at any rate if your able to help or not.
FRANK

Does this script support album art ? I want to create a report with a small thumbnail of the album art next to each album entry.
If this is not possible at present, could it be added please ?

This script is designed for reporting on tracks, not albums. Maybe try my "Advanced Report", which is designed to report on albums and does include artwork.

Thanks Trixmoto, tried your "Advanced Report" - excellent script ! One question - is it possible to create a report on part of the library only ? I see no option for this, which means that I have to report my entire library (which takes ages) before I can see what the outcome of the script is.

You can use Filters (Gold feature) in Advance Report to accomplish that.
