Ah ok. Probably it just doesn't show the password in the box due tu security reasons. Same here. But storing or changing the password works.

use ONE of the options below. Using multiple plugins will result in your last.fm scrobbles being lost.
Option #2 - (Old winamp standalone plugin - I'm using this plugin and it works flawlessly)
1. Download this:
http://static.last.fm/plugins/audioscro ... 1.1.10.exe
2. Install to \Program Files\Mediamonkey\Plugins\
3. Choose 'General' option rather than 'Media library' option when installing.
4. Restart MM or start it, and go into Tools -> Options -> General Plug-ins to enter your login information
5. Scrobble!
This has been fantastic.
It works, and works without errors. Every other method (including upgrading to 3.1 and the new scrobbler script) threw errors ranging from vbscript to installation errors. Thank you for this post.

Method #2, which is the only one that doesn't give me problems, doesn't seem to scrobble tracks with foreign characters in them. Is there any solution to this?

The only solution for now is to install MediaMonkey 3.1 beta version (available in beta forum) and the new native last.fm plugin 1.0.2.5 (also available in the beta forum). I've been using it for some time.. works great.

I'll try that, then. Thanks so much!

Just be careful... as 3.1 is beta software and you risk losing data (and possibly other errors). You may want to back up your data prior to use with 3.1.

Hey Guys,
I just started using MM today but I'm actually the original author of the Winamp / WMP Scrobbler plugins. Is it worth me fixing this plugin to mke it work properley with MM or will the new plugin for 3.1 be good enough?
Cheers
James

Hi James,
I think you should contact Peke, the author of MM's plugin, to see if there's anything that could be done.

I'm glad to see you here I still love your plugin more than official one. Small Q, the only thing I find unclear is order of submissions I've found that Cache -> Last track Submission -> Now Playing makes lot less submission errors than Now playing -> Cache -> Last track Submission can you clear things for me?

I tried the native plugin for quite a while and it worked. Then for some reason I didnt discover back then it stopped working and now im trying to get it back going again, but i cant.
With the native plugin and the winamp plugin I get a similar error in the logfile:
Something with "Handshake didn't complete"
Does this mean there is some form of connection problem or a router/firewall related problem?

No problem. I'm also wondering, in the future, if it will be possible to recommend, love and tag songs inside of MediaMonkey? And if not, would this be possible with a script working with this plugin?

Hi, I have one small problem with scrobbling ---> foreign characters!!!
For example, my tagged music with the letter ''à'' will change in my last.fm client to ''a'' so I have badly tagged tracks

Is there someone who help me??? (no new MM native plugin, with bugs

)
