MediaMonkey forum

When I start Mediamonkey, I get the Minilyrics splash screen :

When I click "close" and Mediamonkey opens, I just have a completely blank minilyrics screen:

It worked fine before when it was not embedded!

Any help appreciated.

You have the "Fantasy" skin enabled. This doesn't work with the embedder. Change it to "Plain" and restart MM.

Thanks nohitter - that worked. I should mention that I did not change the skin; this was the default skin when I installed the software!

Yes, it is the default skin. But this problem has also been mentioned plenty of times in this thread.

I looked through most of the pages of this topic to see if it is possible to hide the titlebar and I have not seen anything. Does anyone know if it possible to hide the titlebar in the embedder?

I've tried the script Behind TitleBars and it doesn't work for me on Windows 2000. Does it work on Vista?

Behind titlebars add-on is the only way to disable the titlebar for the embedder plugin. I have personally used it in Vista and Windows 7, and yes, it works very well for me in both.

Well, I'm not sure what the problem is, but again when I install Behind TitleBars (yes I know this isn't the right forum, but I'm answering nohitter), I get a one inch square in upper left corner that covers File, Edit, View, and Play. The script works great, I just get the square problem.

Since maybe Steegy is no longer a part of the community(?), I need some help with this script. I have confirmed with the author of MonkeyFlow (flashk) that there is, although not widespread, a conflict between the MonkeyFlow and the Embedded MiniLyrics scripts. It causes MM functionality to stop although your music will continue to play when both scripts are running. See at least my posts in the MonkeyFlow forum. If Steegy is no longer working with this script, and I know it's not cool to mess with someone else's work, can one of the communities experts step in and see if this issue can be resolved? Maybe also contact the MonkeyFlow author? He was able to recreate the problem himself. I love both scripts and would hate to sacrafice one or the other. Thanks in advance.

does it support FLAC files? I loaded it up and it does not seem to work. Most of my catalog is in FLAC

Sure, it can display lyrics for any type of files that your player supports. However, it can only save the lyrics into the tags of mp3 files.

I uninstalled the original Minilyrics and then installed the embedder, so I got a message. But I fixed it by installing the original version. There's no error, but the embedder doesn't work; it won't show any lyrics.... Lyrics still show up like the original. Any help?

guys can any 1 help me plz
i have downloaded Embedded Minilyrics v1.4b [MM2+3]
and install it with no problem but its not there in the
(VIEW)
i just get windows 7
before it was working good on vista

another new issue :

now that i have the new version of the embedded mini lyrics, each time i open MM3, it opens automatically Itunes at the same time....curious, no other issue but it's each time a waste of time to open itunes at the same and then to close it to just keep MM3 open (with Mini lyrics)

Any options i missed here ?

The embedder would not be responsible for that, it would be the Minilyrics settings themselves. Try to disable the itunes plugin in the ML options.
