Sorry for the delay in updating my opinion on the latest version, been busy migrating all my files to a bigger external hard drive. But I must say I am speechless as to the new features. The ability to import m3us from both a previous backup and external m3u files is outstanding. This opens up the possibility for me to have very easy access to any of my playlists whenever I need them. And the added bonus of being able to use the Right Click 4 Scripts menu is extremely great. With the help of the logfile and the file placeholders, I was able to use the Playlist Song Replacer script to replace the placeholders with the true tracks. Thanks for your hard work and keep up the great work.

Hey:

I cannot import playlists from a backed up database, I get the following errors. The first one happens when I try to import a backup from Trixmoto's Backup Playlists script and the second one from Trixmoto's Backup script. Help :-?

1. [EDIT] On closer inspection it looks like you have tried to import from a database before but it crashed halfway through?. I will have to make another release to fix it.
I'm pretty sure you can't import from Trix's export because there is no PlaylistSongs table, hence the crash.
You have to use his script to import them

2. That file path looks awefully long, try copying it to just ....MediaMonkey\Backup\MM.DB

What's 7 levels to a power script  ? Anyway, I tried that and same error. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same error (the second one). Here's the second part of the error:

Have you restarted MM? if it has crashed on Trix's database then it is still attached
else
I'm afraid that database maybe corrupt :(
To know for sure switch it with your real MM.DB and try to start MM with it.

The first error is because you interupted an import or it crashed?
It hasn't deleted the temp tables. Execute this in SQLViewer (or delete the tables from an sql editor)
DROP TABLE DEISyncPlaylists
DROP TABLE DEISyncPlaylistSongs

I'm pretty sure you can't import from Trix's export because there is no PlaylistSongs table, hence the crash.
You have to use his script to import them

Ok, I used the db which I was trying to import playlists from and MM did start with it. While looking at the db's in SQLite Spy, the active DB had the two DEI tables but the backup one didn't. I just used the sql statements on the active db and then tried the import and now it is working. Tell me, should those two tables always be there or be deleted if all works as it should?? Thanks again for your help :D , all this trouble to restore 3 autoplaylists. :-?

They get deleted after a successful import

I will have to add some code to check for them.

Well, now that I know they should not be there, and you've given me the sql info to be saved in SQL Viewer, I know how to fix it if it happens again. They were probably still there because I've had a quite a few crashes the last few days and I don't know if was before, during or after my last import. :-?

If you're going to be adding to it, can you add a progressbar?

I saw that, I've been stuck on 13 for over 5 minutes.... It zooms down to 13 and then it seems to stop...
