I feel foolish asking this but I forgot how to use this script. I scan all my files from my hard drive to the library ... then I don't know how to populate the list when I open tagging inconsistencies from the left column. its empty .
I used it once and have forgotten how, thanks
EDIT
scratch that I was thinking it fixed things automatically. I see now

I just installed Window 7 RC (64 Bit). Is there any way this script can work on this version of Windows? Thanks!

I get a message box that says "Product installation error."
I am installing via the .mmip installation package.

Did you try this?
Avoid "Product installation error"
- Vista Users:
- - To be able to install scripts you must Run MM as an administrator.
- - It means that you must right click the MM icon and select "Run as administrator" even if you are logged in as an administrator.
- All Users:
- - Check in your task manager that you only have one instance of MediaMonkey.exe running.

That was perfect! Kinda off the subject, why does it matter that I run as Administrator even when my account is listed as an Adminstrator? I guess that is kinda a Windows Accounts question.

Great! I don't know why you have to though...

The could give options for each node to fix it
I the trailing spaces node a right click to it shows "Remove trailing spaces"
There are many like that

The script is only designed to find inconsistencies and not to fix them since the fixing part can very individual.
You can try Steegy's "Personal TagEnhancer Script" to correct trailing spaces.

The "THE Inconsistencies" node is fantastic! But it only works on artists, is there a way to create one for Albums (ie The Breakfast Club vs. Breakfast Club) - perhaps one with concern given to albums by same artist, perhaps another one without concern for artist (to take into account soundtracks, etc.)...
Thanks again!

Ok, I have search this topic and I have seen some similar question but...
Most of my collection consist of MP3 but I also have some file type like ape, flac. I prefer to save Album Art embedded in each track, but for files where that isn't possible I save a folder.jpg
What is the different between these two, is it always two or could it be only one?
- First Album Art Linked (X)
- All Album Art Linked (X)
I can't see what is wrong since the above nodes incl. files were linked Art is the only option. Maybe there could be option to ignore files type like ape etc.? I don't want to turn this off since I want to see if I have MP3 with linked art instead of embedded (I want it to be hidden until were are some mp3 with linked art).

Can someone tell me what 'First Album Art Different Path' means? I could go through 48 pages but I'd rather not if someone wants to be nice to me.
