Tagging Inconsistencies 4.0.1 (2014-02-27)
Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Hello, I maintain parallel libraries in 3 different formats. I keep them in different folders and I use MM filters to separate them. However TI plug-in never respects any of the filters I select in the TI general settings. So I get incorrect results in certain areas like: Albums contained in multiple folders. It returns all my files since it thinks they are all the same album. Changing filters for each node does not work either. Please help!
Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Due to performance reasons the filter implementation is actually Album based in the album node, Artist based in the Artist node, aso.
Is it in the Album node you're experiencing this?

Wow thanks for your super quick response. Yes, you are right. I needed to go inside each node's settings and change them to all to the filter. Yes it was in the Album node. But now it's great! I mean this is a great plug-in.
Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Erh, upon checking the code It seems that I've changed that behavior described earlier, so scratch that.
But I found one strange thing. I changed a Filter from within TI and applied it, but it didn't have any effect, checking the Filter-SQL in the options gave a blank result. Checking the filter again in the filters it didn't have any condition applied eventhough my collection was Filtered? I then applied the condition again and all works just fine.
So check that the filter you're using actually has a condition!

Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
The filters definitely have a condition. I've been using them for a while. But when I went into every node's settings and changed the filters it works perfectly. It takes a long time to process but it works.
Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Great, but you don't have set all filters manually. In the upper right corner you have a dropdown which can do that for you...

Yes. I've been using the drop down. It doesn't take that long and I'm going to working on one library at a time anyway.

I can't reproduce. What version of MM do you use? (see: Help->About)

earlier ( can't reproduce) i got a more extended error ,i remember it pointed to line 670 column 6 or 7 ,but i don't know how to find this , i open the script in notepad.
Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Line 670 is just: i=i+1
Are you using the latest version of the script? If not try to upgrade.
Also, a restart of MM makes the error message to be informative, the first time it pops up. So can you please restart MM and provide a screen shot of error?

Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
The "some tracks misses album art" node doesn't seem to be working right for me. When I open the node, all of the tracks seem to have album art, even after updating the whole album with the same album art, the node keeps returning the same number of tracks needing edit. Also when you expand the node, each track has a (1) beside it. Doesn't this mean there is album art for each track with a (1)? If they all have the (1), they shouldn't be in the node, right? Maybe I'm just not using the node right. I have tried both version 3.9.3 and version 3.9.4.....Any help would be appreciated. --- Sid
Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Is there a node withing TI that will show you all of the file names that are not conforming to your standard.
Let's say that I use.
<Album Artist> - <Album> - <Track#> - <Title> as my convention, however, there's a few files that are only tagged
with <Album Artist> - <Album> - <Title>... Is there a way to show those files?
Thanks ahead of time,
Belg
