I have been using iMac running parallels and MM4. It has been challenging but now with IOS 16 and Parallels 18, MM4 no longer synchs my iPhone so out of frustration I need to buy a dedicated windows laptop. I should mention that MM5 will not run on Parallels. I need to migrate to MM5.

I think I can get by with 16 gig of ram and a 512 gig hard drive. My music library is about 150 gig.

Thoughts in i3, i5 and i7 processors. I am a mainframe guy and can’t keep up with technology the way I used too. All I do is manage my 96 playlists and music library. Nothing else will be on the windows computer. I want fast iPhone syncing.

Thanks for the quick reply. I downloaded the Plug-in, ran it, MM4 Installed it, restarted MM4 and ran a test/synch on a 2 Song playlist. MM4 indicated it was copying 1 of 2 songs and just ended after about 3 minutes and MM4 deleted the Playlist altogether from my iPhone. Tried on another 4 song playlist and it copied 2 songs over and deleted 2 songs from the iPhone Playlist. All playlists are still intact on the main MM4 interface. Just not on the iPhone.

FYI: There has been error in the original MMIP (MM4 > iOS6) (because of changed interface),

Note: you might need to run MM as administrator so that the MMIP installation has privileges to move original C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Plauigns\d_iPhone.dll > orig.d_iPhone.dll

Thank you Ludek..I have been pulling my hair out. Do I have to get a MM5 Gold license to get MM5 to copy over my music and playlists from MM4?

Tried this and no deal. Must have to do with my virtual windows 10. I bought a new windows 11 laptop and am trying to get MM5 to work

Upgrade from MM4 to MM5 does not require a Gold License.
