Syncing deletes songs from library

I sync MM5 to 3 Android devices regularly. Every so often I notice that some of the songs are deleted from the main library after the sync has completed. The files remain on the drive and get added again because I have set MM5 up to continually scan. Is there something I'm doing wrong when syncing?

Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using? Are you using Auto-Sync or perhaps occasionally use Send To?

I'm using 5.0.4.2690. I don't auto sync, I always manually sync.
