[REQ] Add a default sorting option

I pretty much always want playlists to be sorted by artist. Whenever I add a song to an existing playlist, I have to remember to sort the playlist order by artist and then save the order with Alt+F5, every single time. Every new playlist I create also defaults to order added sorting.
It seems like there should be an option to set a default sort order. So if the default was set to "Artist", then new playlists would default to be sorted by artist, and then if any other order was desired I could then use Alt+F5 to save a different sort order. It would also be nice if existing playlists would adjust to the default sort category unless saved otherwise.
If there's already a way to do this, please let me know. I've been driving myself nuts for the last hour trying to figure it out and changing the sort order of all of my playlists manually.
