Beginning Of Track Sometimes Plays Twice

This random issue has been happening for a few weeks with either flac or mp3 playing to various BT devices.

A track will start playing for maybe 1 or 2 seconds and then the same track starts playing again. A bit like an old vinyl LP being jogged.

Any thoughts, anyone else having this strange issue?

Many thanks

I noticed this in my car recently. A track will start playing very briefly for a second or so then skip back to the beginning. All I'm doing is playing via bluetooth from Mediamonkey on my phone to the car stereo.

Please send a debug log from MMA right after you experience this and reply here with the logID.

Is this affecting the first file played upon BT connection or for each file played via BT?

I'll try and see if I can grab a log next time but to be honest I'm usually too busy driving! All I know is it seems to have started fairly recently (within the last month or 2) and happens quite a lot (i.e. when it does happen it will do it on nearly every subsequent track). I tend to just ignore it now and only replied because I saw this post.

If it's continuous hopefully you'll be able to submit a log at the end of the drive.

As a further test if I tap the skip back button the start of the track it plays okay.

If I skip back to play the previous track the next track plays okay.

All very strange...

Is anyone able to replicate this with MMA 2.0.5.1245+ ?

( To test MediaMonkey beta builds in MMA, tap Options > About | Register for test builds; Once registered, your next update will be to the current MMA beta. To update immediately, go to MediaMonkey in the Play store and tap 'Update'.)

Build 2.0.5.1245 is currently rolling out to Production. Can anyone confirm whether this issue is still occurring?

If yes, please share a log ID here after it occurs. Thanks!

In this case, the most reliable solution is to change the transition from "Gapless" to "None" in Options/Playback/Audio.
