Simply put I like the fact that I can put MM in the system tray and still have nearly full playback functionality. Anything more that can be shoved in there would be sweet ;)

Most of all the big thing I would like would be to have the menu that popus up from the tray icon ratings section show the current rating.

Side note: everytime I restore MM from the tray I get a error

Yeah I get that error as well, however its only while tracks are playing.

I get the error too...
The error description (shown in the auto-bug-report tool built in the RC-1) is "Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window". Isn't it?
It happens when i restore MM from mini or microplayer mode to window mode, but ONLY if the "Internet Radio" (Shoutcast) page or the "Now playing" page are showing. No matter if there are or not songs playing and no matter if the songs playing are from my library or from the internet radio.
This is absolutely proved, or at least it is with my computer.
Please try to verify what i'm saying, cause it seems to be a common problem and i'd like to know if it happens in the same way to you all.
I also sent a couple of report of the error with the bug reporter. Did you?

P.S.: nohitter, i downloaded and tried your Zune skin...i like it very much, good work.
Though, i think there would be some little improvement to be made, for example in the miniplayer look, in the microplayer size and in general in the placing of some stuff (like minimize buttons in all the player modes, song name and artist area in the main player mode, etc...).
This is of course my opinion, but do you think you can listen to some user advices? :)
I'll be happy to let you know my tips :P
Bye!

Bye!
The skin is really just a copy of an already made skin for another program, thats where most of the button and song info placement comes from. I have taken many suggestions already and tweaked the skin here:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 7&start=60
and I'm certainly open to more suggestions. However, there are certain things that I won't change.

Anyhow, back on topic! I did send a debug log when I got the error maximizing from miniplayer.

Yes, sorry somehow I missed what you wrote before but I just tested and can replicate. Whether a song is playing or not, the error seems to only happen when the Now Playing window is opened up, and I peeked at the debug log to see that I also saw "Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window".

No problem.
Well, than it seems to be quite specific, so there's a chanche they are gonna fix it :P
I tested it with now playing and internet radio pages, but maybe some other pages can be included, who knows...someday i'm tring to find it out ;)
Thank you.

I get this problem no matter what nodes I have on or off (even with them completely off).
I noticed it started to happen -AS SOON AS- I had a new skin, doesnt have to be in use, just on the Skins list under options either by Install (.mmip I think) or by placing the skin's zip (.MSZ maybe?) into the skin folder and MediaMonkey seeing it.

This is possible, cause the error refers to the impossibility to restore an invisible or disabled window, so this can pretty be linked with some skin issue. Don't know. Anyway, this is quite annoying and should be fixed in the first official release. Hopefully...

The only skin I have tried (because its the only skin I use..) is Morten's WMP11 Look-a-like, and I haven't seen a recent update of it in a while, so theres nothing new with the skin -- Unless this is MM3 being more strict about skinning rules in RC1 than it was in the Alpha/Beta releases.

P.S. Morten! Release an update to WMP11 already :-P I look forward to that almost as much as a new version of MM3, lol.
(In all seriousness, please do :-P I like to have lined backgrounds in my media players and it seems the latest version(s) left it out)

What more do you want? I think I am finished with the WMP11 skin for 3.0.0.

Later though, who knows?
