Copy On-The-Go Playlist from iPhone to MM

Post by Hase »

Hi,

is it possible to copy an On-The-Go Playlist i made right on my iPhone from there to the MM's library?!
It would be a great thing because I often use this feature since i cannot imagine what music is best for what kind of situation at a party, when i sit at home. But I'm searching for a way to import those Playlists to MediaMonkey... :-P

If you use auto-sync then the on-the-go playlist is always copied back to MM.

Hello again,

i tried to sync my iPhone with MediaMonkey. As it always does it asked if I realy want to delete some songs. In this List, there was also my On-The-Go1 Playlist. So i decided to leave it on the phone.
But finaly it was not copied to my Library...

I'm not sure, maybe if you don't delete it it isn't copied back to MM.

No, I have found that mediamonkey will use your computer as the reference and delete/copy to your iphone accordingly. I have yet to figure out how to reverse this relationship

Hi

Normally, any on-the-go playlist would copy back to MediaMonkey. Also with any playlist you would create in an iPhone (with whatever name).

However, since iOS 6.0, playlists do not copy back to MediaMonkey. So if I create a new playlist in the iPhone, it will not show up in MediaMonkey.

Does anybody know why? Any solution?

Also, if I change a playlist in the iphone (that was sync from MM), adding new songs, these changes do no propagate back to Media Monkey. On the contrary, MM copies the old playlist on top of the one I modified in the iPhone!

ANy suggestion?

I am using MM 4.0.7.1506 and iTunes 10.7.0.21, Windows 7 home edition
