Ipod/MM-sync: Make new albums appear first in the list?

I used to be able to sort new albums first with the older MediaMonkey, using special characters to give priority to the new albums, e.g. "#" in front of the album.
For example, older MediaMonkeys would sort the albums like this on the Ipod:
# Alchemist-Chemical_Warfare-2009
# Raekwon-Only_Built_4_Cuban_Linx_Pt_II-2009
# Royce_Da_59-Street_Hop-2009
50 Cent-03-Get_Rich_Or_Die_Tryin-2003
Busta Rhymes-04-Genesis-2001
Ras Kass-02-Van Gogh-2002
The 3 newest albums on top of the albums-list, because I use # in the album name..
But with the newest MediaMonkey, the same list will be sorted like this on the Ipod:
50 Cent-03-Get_Rich_Or_Die_Tryin-2003
# Alchemist-Chemical_Warfare-2009
Busta Rhymes-04-Genesis-2001
# Raekwon-Only_Built_4_Cuban_Linx_Pt_II-2009
Ras Kass-02-Van Gogh-2002
# Royce_Da_59-Street_Hop-2009
With 20-30 new albums and 300 old albums, it's a mess to find the newest albums quickly..
Any tips or suggestions to get the newest albums on top?
