Somehow I have ended up with two music folders (both containing artist/album subfolders) at different levels within my folder structure. One at 'user/my music', and one at 'user/my documents/my music'..... What is the best way to combine both of these folders into the one at the 'user/my music' level without the danger of really screwing something up???? I'm guessing that a simple cut/paste of the folders would not be the best solution.....

I am running the latest release of MM......

You can configure MM to sort your folders. Go to options and then go over to "Auto-organize". Here you can configure how MM should sort your music collection. In order to be sure MM also involves your second folder, just add it under "File -> Add/Rescan library"

Tools > Options > Auto-Organize Files and make sure to verify no duplicate filenames exist in this dialog: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... enames/4.0
