Introduction

MediaMonkey supports most common audio and video formats on the Internet:

Online Music

Clicking a media file in your browser will cause it to open in MediaMonkey if MediaMonkey is set as default application for the file type in your browser. Check with your browsers documentation on how to change default programs for opening certain file types.

Downloaded Music

If you download and save media files from online stores, they can be automatically added to the Library via the Folder Monitoring. DRM copyright protection on purchased files may prevent MediaMonkey from playing the media files.
