Skin information (by Morten)
Information about the skin:
- This skin is a collaboration between me (graphics) and Petr (coding).
- It features a cool L/R-visualizer in the Volume Bar. This will automatically resize according to the position of the volume slider.
- Also pretty dominant is a spectrum analyzer in the information panel.
Where is this skin headed?
The plan is to let this skin evolve with MM3 as it goes into beta and RC-stages. This is not a promise list, but more of a wishlist from my side. Four things which are high on the priority for the next changes in my skin are:
- Real Vista-compatibility: menus, dialogs, dropdown menus, ... in Vista-style when you're using Vista, and XP-style when you are using XP.
- There is currently a big empty area if you're using a high-resolution screen. Don't worry, it would most likely be used by an area where you can switch between a playlist-viewer (custom) and a lyrics viewer. Of course, if you have any ideas to what this area can be used for, send me a PM on the forum.
- Spectrum analyzer isn't possible to turn off as of yet, but the plan is to make it possible. It will also be possible to switch between different visualizers.
- The Album Art area will be polished with overlays and transparent areas instead of white areas.
