MediaMonkey needs the same driveID, this can update it in the MediaMonkey database: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... n+database

[SOLVED] Help! New Drive, MMW Won't Relink Tracks

Help! I keep my music on an external HDD. I shutdown MMW, copied all the music to a new, larger HDD, and set the new drive's letter to be the same as the old, now retired drive. MMW Won't find any of the music, and when I try to relink, it links everything to the wrong files!

I copied the folder structure and files exactly between the drives (using FreeFileSync utility). MMW SHOULD find the MP3s and WAVs without any action because they're all the same path. That isn't what's happening, though.

I COULD clear the database or start with a new db, but I've got a ton of playlists and nested playlists, and I don't want to lose all that organization or go through the tedium of re-importing playlists in batches, manually move them, etc. because MMW doesn't support import of nested playlists.

How do I fix my library?

MMW Gold 4.1.29.1910
Windows 10 Home x64 1903 18362.959
