Where does it see the first two letters?

Finally I have everything synced to the SDcard using the device over wifi. The only issue is MM mobile version on my device only see the first two letters of the alphabet, nothing else. reason i know the data is there is my Sonos app sees and plays everything.

any help please with MM mobile version 1.3.0.0924 recognising everything on my device sdcard?

Decided to restart eveything on my device. Deleted MMA , deleted all files and setting. Also reformatted SDcard . There were some songs had 5/6 greyed tracks so I thought start again.

I'll let it run overnight and maybe over two nights and see if this works, will let you know

Check Choose Library Folders, make sure the right folders are selected there and remove any that shouldn't be included.

also when i select under Device options Check for New/Changed media it flashed scanning started...then nothing happens

on my Galaxy S8 device i have MediaMonkey version 1.3.9.0924. I cant see anywhere i can update if its needed?

Which version of MMW, MMA and Android are you using?

Sync should only copy changes, so it should not re-sync files it already synced.

ok I found Select sync server and it now knows where the information is coming from. On the device (phone) I found Options>Sync Setting>SDcard. I had it running and syncing for 16 hours and the device battery died so have to start again!! Is there a way to sync from where it left off? Also i noticed the ones that successfully synced to device had each song copied 5 times, 4 were greyed out, the 5th one is working. It will take 2/3 days to fully sync if each track is copying 5 x . Any suggestions?

Auto-Sync in MMW only works when the device is connected via USB.

I've tried Select All (ctrl+a) on my laptop? then Syn now on phone, nothing happens
also Auto synchronize is greyed out

You need to select what should be synced as by default nothing is selected which is why everything is in sync.

Uninstalling and reinstalling MM did not work. It still says Everything is in Sync when I click Synchronize on my mobile device which has the SDcard. Only difference is it now says Internal storage is also in Sync

So im now syncing with my SDcard in the phone and connection via WiFi.

When I click Sync now on the phone it goes through analyzing stage and then tells me "everything is in Sync". It highlights and recognises my SD card, which is correct. My only option is to close, nothing else, no syncing. I have even purchased the WiFi add on.
Any suggestions please?

update: i have uninstalled and re installed mediamonkey on my phone. see if this works
