No, we all have to wait and see how 3.0 will work!

Well, I'm not really in a hurry, so that would be fine.

Do you know if multiple artist support is unlimited? I.e. is there a cap on how many artists can be associated with one track? Some of these mixes have a lot of artists included...

Ah, to be navigatable in the tree nodes, you have to use fields that are standard or figure out a field to use for a custom magic node.

Involved people field might be applicable, but I don't see how it could be done simply/easily in the regular artist/track fields/nodes.

It's about one big file with multiple artists...

Why not use "Mixed by DJ Whoever" as the album artist and use the track artist as the real track artist?

I have quite a few mixes in my library, and they are tagged with the DJ as Artist, and Various Artists as Album Artist. All the original artists and tracks included in the mix are listed in the comment field, because there is no other usable field for them.

Note: I am here not talking about an album where each original song in the mix is a separate track (as in the DJ Kicks series, for example), but where one track is one mix (as in the DMC series, for example).

These show up if I do a regular MM search of all text fields, but that's the only way to find them. Therefore, I wonder if there is some way to search these (SQL filter in Magic Nodes, or a specialized script) so that they are included in library navigation?

For example, one of my mixes has this in the comment field:
10 - Hot Chocolate - A Taste Of Hot Chocolate
Megamixed by Alan Coulthard:
-You Sexy Thing
-Every 1's A Winner
-It Started With A Kiss
-So You Win Again
-No Doubt About It
But I also have some of these tracks separately, tagged with Hot Chocolate as the artist etc.

I would like to be able to go into an Artist node, look under Hot Chocolate, and find both the individual, original tracks, and the mixes that contain these tracks.

Possible or not?
