it looks like this was fixed for MMA. Any news about MMW? This functio al description is exactly the problem i have serving up flac files to an lg smart tv and vlc ios client.

i'm running mmw gold license MediaMonkey_4.1.23.1881. on win 10 home.

thank you for pdf file. I can replicate similarly, but MMA transmits to next track but playback does not start. Also only for the first time.
We will see what we can do about this,

Very hard to test and confirm as there are several ways to do that.

Can you please make step by step of each test you have done along with some screenshots of MMW server Auto Conversion settings (device one also if you customized by Device).

I tried several ways to play over dlna and could not replicate your behavior on my Moto X4 and various media formats.

When playing FLAC files (via DLNA), the FIRST time I play the song it cuts the song before reaching the end.

Monitoring the transcoded_media_files folder, when the MMA ends the conversion and updates the duration time on the file transcoded, at this moment the play stops. If there is another song in the queue, it starts to play, otherwise the playback stops.
The 2nd and subsequent times it is played, it plays to the end, that is because the file is already transcoded. If I delete the files in the folder, the problem happens again...

Transcode TO MP3 files, or WAV files works ok. But im interested in transcode to flac.

I have tested with different compression levels (from 0 to 10) with the same result...
I have tried different Media Renderers and Control points, with identical results...

On the MMA5 BETA it also does the same...
