This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

I don't use MM for podcasts, only music... and this bug is incredibly annoying.

Here's the scenario:
If I'm listening to music in my car, just about to get to the chorus of a song I'm singling along to, and I pull into my driveway and run inside to grab something. I have to turn off the engine to take my keys out of the ignition to get into the house, so the phone disconnects from the car bluetooth. When I return 1 minute later to the car, start her up and get going again, the phone auto-connects to the car bluetooth and when I initiate a play command through my car's bluetooth the song plays from the beginning, and not where I was ready to sing from. I don't want to listen to the song from the beginning again, and scanning to the right time isn't really a driving appropriate activity. So I skip the song and go about my day just a little bit sadder.

The same happens if I go from my car to my headphones when I go to the gym, or whatever. Any time the bluetooth is reconnected.

This is not something that happens with any other media player I have installed on my phone... So I'm not sure if above you were saying that it's something on android's end or not, but if it is, that simply isn't true.

Would really appreciate a fix.

No, that's an MMW only setting (and only for that install).

I get this with regular music, but it bookmarks and restarts properly with Podcasts. I wonder if this has to do with the setting in MM4: Options > Playback Rules? Mine is set to bookmark podcasts...

If this is the case, it would be great to include the option to bookmark in the mobile app separately from MM4.

I've also not seen this occur with various Android devices connected to various Bluetooth devices.

Have you send a debug log (from About screen) right after this occurs and opened a Support Ticket with the logID?

Is there any chance that I'm this will ever be fixed? It's been over a year now.

I figured out, that every interruption about 1 Minute results in a restart. Everything under 1 minute works. It's equal if I press Pause or reconnect my Bluetooth Headset. I can switch to another Bluetooth devicedevice, too. If it's under one minute it works.

After setting to always the problem still occurs.

Mine has always been set to "Always" and the error still occurs.

Looking into this. As a temporary workaround, does setting Options > General:Show in Notifications bar to 10m or Always solve the problem?

I'm now getting a random Pause as well whenever Waze is running.

My music will start up fine when Bluetooth runs, then either Pause or Stop in the middle of driving.

This problem is very bad. :cry:
I hear music, someone talks to me and I press Pause. After talking two minutes i press play again. And than. :oops: The song starts from the beginning.
If the song would be 4 minuets long I wouldn´t cry, but many of my songs are longer than 10 minutes.

I installed PowerAmp and it infects MMA positive. It starts right after a Pause, or Reconnection. But PowerAmp shouldn´t be the solution.
