Yes this still happens on build 5.0.1.2418, though it rebuilds quicker, but still annoying.

That's expected as this is not in the Library (database). MediaMonkey needs to refresh when changes are made.

Can you please provide more details? Which build of MediaMonkey 5 and are you working in the Location sub-node or Folders node in the Media Tree.

When I drag a file from one folder to another it then rebuilds the folder contents, like its rescanning the folder.
