One you sort there is the option to save the Sort at the top right side of the Filelisting.

I can sort it yes but i cannot save the changes. With mm4 i could save the changes.

You can still do this. Perhaps you have to change the View to List to sort on the Album Column: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHelp:Filelisting/5.0#Changing_Views

With mm4 i could add albums to a playlist and then later sort it manually by clicking on one of the columns and sort it that way and afterwards just right click and say update playlist. But there seems to be no easy way to do that mm5 :o
