Hi,
I would suggest you to try MM5 https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 86639&sd=d where we changed many things and approaches on browsing.

Art Browser With Details - integrating two panels

MediaMonkey is amazing - thanks for all your hard work. I have a suggestion for an improvement.

My favourite view is 'Art Browser With Details' but I'd love it if the two panels interacted more effectively and consistently.

I typically browse using the Details panel and it would be great if the Art Browser panel followed my movements. For example, if I type 'Roy', the Details panel scrolls down to Royal Blood - but it would be great if the Art Browser simultaneously scrolled across to show the album art for Royal Blood (along with the albums either side of it). At the moment, if I only use the Details panel to navigate my music collection, the Art Browser remains totally static - always showing the first six albums in the library.

A connected suggestion... if I use the Art Browser panel to browse, the Details panel shows only the tracks for the selected album. I think it would be better if the Details panel continued to show all artists and albums, but obviously with the tracks for the selected album surfaced at the top.

These two changes, taken together would mean the two panels would work together seamlessly.

I have no idea how difficult this would be to achieve - I know these sorts of things are rarely as simple as they appear to the user. But I thought I would throw it out there.

Thanks!
