Pixelcloud,

Quite a few improvements were made to the wasapi output plugin since this issue was reported. Can I assume that this issue is resolved for you?

I've attached two debug logs. The first one is the one i saved immediately after MM4 locked up, Windows 7 popped up saying "this program is unresponsive would you like to close it". I let MM4 sit for about 3 minutes and it decided to recover! The second log was saved AFTER mm4 recovered.

Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks,

MM3 often (always??) did something like this (complete crash--no keyboard, no mouse, had to push the reset button) to me when I quickly moved the control from very near the beginning of a tune to extremely near the end. It was the first thing I tried in MM4 and it did NOT exhibit the problem. 64-bit Win7.

I can't reproduce, you might want to create a debug log: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341

1343 - Mediamonkey crash when seeking through song

I've been having an issue with playback in the new beta (i also had this problem in 3, so i'm not sure if its just an audio driver issue or not)

Steps to reproduce:

1) Play song
2) Use seek bar to skip around the song a few times (3-5 times, fast changes)
3) Audio will start skipping and mediamonkey will crash (sometimes it will recover and not crash)
4) Sometimes it wont even let me kill it in taskmanager and sometimes the audio will keep skipping after the process has been killed!

I'm running Windows 7 64bit edition with a realtek high definition audio device. Foobar2000 and other audio software does not crash when doing this.
