for me it seems I can't play any songs from "All" folders.

Running XP SP3. Found I could play 2-3 songs in a play list or the main music folder. If I switched to another playlist, I could play 2-3 songs from that list - and so on. But that's it. No crashing on exit or anything.

Tracked as 7620.

I also had problems with build 1359. It would not play certain songs in long playlists. For example, I had a playlist with around 450 songs and it would play the first 50 songs in the playlist but no songs after that. I could navigate (via the Media Tree) directly to a song that would not in the playlist and it would play fine. I could even send a group of unplayable songs to a smaller playlist and they would play fine.

I reloaded build 1358 and this problem went away.

I also rolled back to 1358 since nothing would play in 1359. I actually figured it was an April Fool prank. I have a decent size library, over 20,000 mp3's that are 192 CBR, but couldn't find a track that would play. I also have Win 7 64-bit system, so perhaps that helps.

Same here, couldn't get it to play any mp3 files on upgrade from 1358. It will play one song after awhile and then stop after that. Downgraded back to 1358.

I deleted 1359 and ran 1358 for 3 hours (no problems except it always crashes on exit) then re-booted and re-installed a new DL of 1359. Same thing--would not play any file via the play button. It did play one song when using the right context menu's Play but thereafter still refuses to play any additional songs (Continuous is on) and always refuses to play via the Play button. I do not think it is related to the crash on exit (I have sent a few auto debug reports but only one for 1359) and 1359 does not always crash on exit.

For what it's worth, the Play button extremely briefly changes to a Pause button then back to the Play icon. Don't know how to create a debug log--will search the forum...

Try to send a debuglog (or if there was any AV, auto bugreport should be sent to us).

It's working fine here.

1359 totally unstable [#7620]

by Edgar » Fri Apr 01, 2011 2:42 pm

After installing it refused to play any audio though other actions seemed fine. Re-installed after DLing a new installer--played one file then refused to play any more. As with 1357 & 1358 always crashes to debugger on exit. I am reverting to 1358 and awaiting 1360. (win7 non-skinned)

[-ed] 1361 seems to have fixed this problem on my system.
