thats funny when i use Morten's i get the same effect as Blake's skin? no fonts on the edit panel.? oh wait i have a pieced together one of Morten's i just got his stuff and added what i did not have of his from when i got his test version.
so i copied his theme from Blake's skin since Blake said he used Morten's theme.

so i guess i better go get Morten's full skin.

but Blake needs to do what peter said change the colour code
for the static text. right now its set to white.

that's easy Blake just to make sure you known or as a refresher.

open the theme.mskn file in the new version of the theme engine. and after it is opened then click on the word fonts in the file tree of the engine. you will see the fonts to change.
scroll down until you see the static fonts.
select them and click on the change color button.

and change the color, since it is white back ground black would be best also make click on the change button and make them a little bigger like either bold or make them size 9 instead of size 8.

i know you know that but sometimes a refresh is nice and maybe this will help someone else reading your message.

I am talking about the text to the left of the file info which is not there in my screenshot. Tried to download the new version, but the text is still missing. (The tab text is easier to read in the new version, but that is not my issue.)

When I use other skins the text is there.

oh gee i did not even see the tabs were all the same color?

i thought he was talking about the code that was showing in the comments box. i don't have that code or know what its too so it looks like an error to me.

Try set proper text color in skin (in ThemeEditor Fonts/StaticText*).

that looks like an built in mm 3 alpha 4 error not the skin's fault.

as far as i know and can tell by looking that blake only added the color change and the button images to his skin which is just a look alike.

atleast on the copy of his skin i have.

if he decided to go in to making a skin with coding the files instead of changing the images and sizes of the orgianl skin i don't know?

so i'll download it again to make sure i got the same copy.

yep all the ones from the 3 download links are the same.

they have no buttons showing on the button bar only the close button but they will show up if you run the mouse over the button bar.

the soft blue background in the screen shot is not there now.
but
all my tag info was correct.

OK Blake. I didn't plan to tell you this: I have converted to Morten's skin. Here is the reason:

I thought I might have deleted some vital file in the skin directory. (I removed everything exept the msz-files) But since others have similar problems I have to confess...

That is a bit unusual, there is no reason for it to be doing that at all.

It looks great on my system, but a lot of the text in Options isn't showing because the menu backgrounds are white and I think the text is as well.

blakeloth1 did you get enought comments on your skin now?

hows one more.

i like the fact you monkefied it this allows users to have one exactly like wmp or one with monkey's feel.

but since you did that you can also change the color some.
like maybe use a blue image with 75 % transparency for the
backgrounds on the tree and list view areas. something to knok the blinding white down to a dim white.?

OOPS!!! you already have it a light blue. sorry i did not see that in the screen shot, not until i put the screen shot on the wiki for you the wiki background is all white so your blue showed up then. sorry for the request of something that is already done.
