So hit "pause"? I think what I'm trying to say is that there really aren't any other options. Either give up the crossfade function on manual skip or deal with the shortcomings of the current plugin. There aren't any other options available at this point.

I think you're going to have to make do with the options that are available there. I'm not aware of any other plugins that work well with MM.

thanks, but i think everybody has a problem configuring it becuase it is old and simply does not work properly with mm.
for example, as others here on the forum, i have not beem able to configure it to to stop a song immediately, it always plays the song for some seconds after pressing "stop" in mm

The SQRSoft plugin is the one you need, what problem do you have with the configuration? There are some posts on this plugin as it is conceived to be complex to configure by many.

i need a crossfader working exactly as the way of the one in mm plus crossfading when i skip to next/previous song manually.
also it'd be nice to have a 1-2 sec fade-out/in effect on stop/start and seek the songs.

Any hints on that?

I've been trying to confugure the plugin "SqrSoft Advanced Crossfading Output v1.7.6 for Winamp" and i'm apparently not able to achieve that.
Could somebody help with configuring it as needed?
