Rights is a Windows thing that you set in Windows Explorer. Right click on the Temp folder and select Properties. From there you can set Read Only as well as Security tab settings.

Thank you but could you please expand on your answer in respect of what steps I must take to enable the temp .WAV files to be deleted. The error widow says:- cannot delete c\users\Christian\AppData\Local\Temp\Tracko1.... etc Access is denied. file maybe in use or you may not have access rights. Exactly as you most succinctly put!

The WAVs are temporary files. When ripping MediaMonkey first rips to WAV, then converts the files to your chosen format. The error means that the Windows User MediaMonkey is run as doesn't have rights to delete files from that folder.

Sorry for delay have been trying myself to no avail. Contrary to previous post my problem is Ripping my CDs to my NAS. Free MM seemed to accomplish this.
1) Almost all of my CD's cannot be read. I get a list of tracks with a red X in front. I have changed to the external drive used with free MM with nil result. Occasionally the read process occurs and the Rip CD window appears I enter the destination as \NASC1C233\Download\<Album Artist>\<Year> - <Album>\<Artist> - <Title>. I chose FLAC and another window shows correct path and a list of tracks showing correct source &destination. The conversion phase begins. With progress shown btm left of library page above play ctrls. Towards the end of track !, I I get a white X red background telling me cannot delete c:\users\christian......track01.wav which is a path towards my main server I think. If I chose to say ignore all the process continues. At the end the rip result is 183 on acurip if I click OK then CD is ejected, but no result in my NAS or anywhere else. More help please

I think the rip procedure works and the path to the NAS is shown. When I use the burn wizard there is no result.

Which?

A partial success, there is still metadata that was present on the free MM that cannot be attached. Some have a music notation label instead.
Furthermore I now cannot rip or burn a CD following the same process as I used with free MM!

Search for them using Google Images.

You can set the file list arrow links in Options > Appearance > show links in file list > Google
Click on arrow link in album column. When it brings up the google page for album, click on images link for it. Pick whatever resolution available that you desire. 8)

There are also some scripts available for this type of thing. Search around in forum and addons page.

Add/Rescan files has done it! A BIG thank you for your help. Unfortunately album covers have gone up in smoke. Using tag from internet has brought most back. What should I do about the remainder?

Which screen?

If you're just trying to access the Media Server it should be listed under Media Servers in the Media Tree in MediaMonkey.

The NAS is visible on Windows Media devices as NASC1C233 and again as TwonkyMedia (NASC1C233). When MM loaded Screen shows no files or meta data

Where do you enter Path?

Several users have issues with seeing network locations in MediaMonkeys File > Add/Rescan Files window. However you can type the Path to be scanned in Add/Rescan Files, Add it and then start the scan if that's the problem.

I have QNAP 459 NAS with FW 4.1.0. What problem exactly you have? Do you see it under My Computer -> network?

FYI Entering GOLD do not affect Access in any way.
