just an update on this for anyone that reads it.
the above jukebox motherboard gave out, I've posted about it in another post on how pc chips board suck. but I've now basically changed the whole thing out. umm yep nothing left but maybe an raid card and the old cd drives, and gray cables and fans.
so I did change it all out.

My jukebox c drive burned out took me 4 weeks to get it fixed spent 3 all day and night sessions reinstalling xp getting the updates that I didn't have already saved. But now it's playing songs again. Once I got the task scheduler fixed. Yes peke you warned me about it but it worked for 15 years before the scheduler database error showed up. Thanks but I really did need to see it myself to understand what you meant. Big a..... pain in the a...... that was. Thanks also to lowlander and the others that told me about the task schedule replacement program called ( system scheduler ) now I'm retyping the 400 tasks needed for running my jukebox. I'm finding out that I really had 700 of them with the multiple times in the one task job for Windows.

Got a 1 tb drive now the 5 hds were eide they just were to small and ate the electric power up. Thats what I have been doing this last month. Just to let others know xp and eide items are getting harder to find don't ya known. :o
