Well, I played around with it after I posted.

It occurred to me that maybe the 2 files that failed to sync (missing) were causing the issue. I deleted them from the library.

Then I started the sync again. It synced 410 more files (no clue where they came from because I hadn't changed anything). Once they finally finished syncing (took a really long time) the playlists were there. Yay!!

If you selected Playlists to be synced in the Device Profile they should show on the device after sync. If this is not the case capture the sync in a debug log (step 4b) and send the log to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=12&t=69

Music syncs to iPhone 6s but not playlists

by marmie2again » Fri Feb 19, 2016 5:43 pm

I bought a new iPhone 6s yesterday, iOS 9.2
I updated MM to 4.1.11.1783 because when I opened MM it said my device was not compatible
Connected to iPhone again and it worked fine.

I don't want all my music on the phone, so I did sync properties and selected a bunch of playlists that I wanted to sync.
All the music I wanted (15.8 GB) synced just fine, but none of the playlists show on the phone.

This is the same problem I had with my iPod Touch 5 (except it would usually fail right at the end). I posted about it here about a couple of years ago but never managed to make it work. I was able to get around the issue on my iPod by right clicking on a playlist and doing Send To the iPod. I did this for each playlist. Pain in the butt, but it worked. I was hoping NOT to have to do this with my iPhone.

I really want my playlists!! Can you help?
