Hi,
Pong... ;)

Sorry for late answer, have you tried using https://winscp.net/eng/index.php and accessing Synology thru SFTP?

I tend to make it easier to work with and it can also quickly open PUTTY to specific folder

Okay, I found the instructions on how to install Server on my NAS...Of course I ran into a problem.
the instructions at viewtopic.php?t=101323 where extremely helpful as I was able to follow them until this part:
5. Enter screen -> SPACE to confirm new Screen session
6. start MMS using ./mms

Not sure how to confirm a new Screen session. pressing the spacebar then <ENTER> didn't do anything. either did typing SPACE <ENTER>

I tried using ./mms and keep getting the following error:
-sh: ./mms: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
I have tried both of the following:
Linux (x64): https://www.mediamonkey.com/beta/mms/MM ... 4.3.tar.gz
Linux (arm 64bit): https://www.mediamonkey.com/beta/mms/MM ... 4.3.tar.gz

I should comment, that to extract the files I used Winzip on my desktop and then copied the files over. The reason is that when I executed the following:
Right click on MMS-linux64-*.*.*.tar.gz -> File custom commands -> Untar/Gzip

I received the following error:
Command 'cd "/Vol2Backups/MediaMonkeyServer"'
failed with return code 1 and the following error message.
-sh: line 7: cd: /Vol2Backups/MediaMonkeyServer: No such file or directory

I've tried variations on the extract to folder with no success.

Hopefully someone can enlighten me.

Oh, one last question...by setting this up, will I be able to access my collection from off my home network?

MM5 Server - Memory Overload

Trying to get MM5 Server up and running and I'm not having much luck.
I have an extensive collection...over 500K titles.
I have to admit, I don't fully understand the purpose of the server, I'm hoping it's so that I can connect to my collection when I am off the network (away from home).
I downloaded the app onto my desktop, started it, changed the default admin ID and PWD, then added my collection to the server.
I added the server to MM5 and told it to sync and it keeps crashing with a message of memory overload. I'm assuming it's due to size of my collection?

I'd like to add the server to my Synology NAS and I'll be able to access it when I'm away from home...can that be done? I only use my NAS as a storage device and have zero knowledge on how to set up or run any software on it. So hopefully it's really simple.
