You can change the View to Grid.

Currently when I try to navigate to 'Music -> Artists' via the leftmost pane, I see a list of songs, which I find to be very strange and cumbersome to navigate - I would expect instead to see each artist represented by some sort of icon (usually one of their album's artwork is shown using other media players). This is actually what I see when I search for an artist, just not when I try to navigate to an artist by browsing A-Z.

I also see that selecting 'Music -> Albums' shows a view similar to what I'm used to when using other media players (I see each album represented by its album artwork, NOT the individual songs), so why is it different when browsing via artist? Is there a way to change this behavior?
