Hi,
I forgot to say that I partially switched to Linux thru headless usage on QNAP NAS. One of the main issues in developing is that I need to compile apps (not Delphi) directly on NAS to make them work on it and even basic like Hallo World!!! app can take hours, just to see that it doesn't work :(

So Linux is definitely the future for all as it can be in everything.

And I will chime in and add that is no way am I trying to pressure anyone into getting a version for Linux. It was just that I saw a couple of posts from people who have it working using PlayOnLinux for Wine, but the details are not good enough for my p-brain, so I was hoping I could get some help. Thanks for all that you do. I have ever seen a free product that comes anywhere close to to what MM does. Best piece of software I have ever used.

Hi,
As it was said few times before, as of MM5 we are transitioning to Multi-Platform enviroment (MAC as start) and as MM is written in Delphi once good enough compiler is available for Linux we will reconsider making it available there (for now our tries have been futile without satisfying results). Transition 20+ Years of app development to Different OS and having satisfying results is very hard and resource heavy for small company like Ventis.

We would like to have it sooner than later, so patience is crucial, along occasional bump to make us re evaluate.

I think they are not developping a version for linux and what exists now is not working properly. I would like to switch also to linux, but MM is really the software that I use the most.

I am in the process of trying to switch to Linux and I am looking for a detailed explanation of how to install MM on POP OS. I saw an article stating someone got it working, but the instructions were not included and I can't seem to locate them.
