I would say with gapless turned off the problem goes away.

With it back on it may happen every few hundred tracks. Very random.

In this case, the most reliable solution is to change the transition from "Gapless" to "None" in Options/Playback/Audio.

Problem still happens but maybe not as often...

Sorry, had problems before with MMA beta so I stick to stable now.

Is anyone able to replicate this with MMA 2.0.5.1245+ ?

As a further test if I tap the skip back button the start of the track it plays okay.

If I skip back to play the previous track the next track plays okay.

All very strange...
