Is it not re-syncing after the Auto-Conversion rules change? Anyway, deletion needs to happen, if it's manual or via Sync.

Yeah I have deleted the files in the past... it is fairly painful because I have ~35000 tracks on my device, so it can take a long time to sync to get all my music back. (And WiFi sync tends to flake out occasionally making it even longer. Maybe I should do a first sync over USB?)

How does it determine whether a file needs to be re-synced? Could I do something like change timestamps of the files in the phone?

Quickest is to delete the files of the device. Did re-sync not Sync the converted files?

OH! I didn't even knew those existed. Or rather I remember using that stuff in the old UI when I used to plug my device in to sync, but it never crossed my mind in the new UI with WiFi sync. Fixing the settings there makes auto-conversion work. (I wonder if it might make sense to have something in the Media Sharing preferences to point back to this setting? I think with WiFi sync, there is nothing on the phone or the desktop app to really point you there, what happened to me is I ended up in the Media Sharing preferences, saw my device was one of the clients and it shows it being used when I do a WiFi sync, so it seemed reasonable that the auto-conversion settings there would apply to syncing the device.)

Anyway, now that I have this fixed, is there some way to force it to re-sync all of my music so I can get it converted?

I used to have MediaMonkey to transcode >192kbs files to 192kbs mp3s, but at some point over the course of switching between Android devices, Windows computers, and updates of the various software, this has broken and I can't get it to work again.

I have tried completely wiping data of the Android app and re-setting it up, re-doing the media sharing settings in the Windows app, completely removing and re-adding the MediaMonkey Server in Media sharing, and still haven't gotten it to work again.
