Hi there,

just want to reply to the topic again.

Meanwhile I've got some hints from the MM support. Really cool guys there!

They discovered some kind of playback error with the given song. The latest version of MMA, 2.1.2.1304 has updated libraries and the problem has gone.

I don't know if this is an official build - I've registered for beta to test this.

Anyway, the new version fixed my problem.

Thanks to all involved people for supporting this issue.

Regards

Hi Peke,

thank you very much investigating this issue at the weekend.

Meanwhile I've re-ripped the CD, added meta information to the tracks using MusicBrainz Picard and tested the song with MMW. There was no changed, the song played completely. Then I've tested this with MMA - there is no change, aproximately after 49/50 seconds there is only silence, nothing else.

I'm a little bit confused about your response. In the initial ticket I've opened there is no response. And looking to my ticket list I've found no other ticket. I've expected to see there the ticket created by sending the log files from MMA, but I don't see it. Maybe I've missed something - can you please guide me to the right direction? I'm just curios to read your latest response.

Anyway, it seems to be some kind of unique problem which is not reproducible from your side. So please keep cool and thank you very much for your investigation. Meanwhile I've heard that song so often that the problem doesn't matter for me. Maybe the problem will be solved by an Android update or something else.

Regards

Jochen

Hi,
I replied you in Ticket, one of tested devices I have is Moto Edge 40 and had no such issues.

@lowlander Thanks for repsonse.

Playing this song with MMA is strange. The audio starts just normal and after some time it's suddenly only silence. This happens with MMA independent of using Android Auto or using plain MMA. I will test plain MMA as well as wireless headphones as well as a stereo receiver via bluetooth. Also I'll rip this CD again and check if this will happen again exactly with this song.

Thanks for the hint, I'll also try to share the song with the Support.

By the way, I'm using a Motorola Edge 60 with the latest Android 16 version available in Germany.

You mentioned Android Auto, to confirm, the file also plays silent using just MMA on the phone's speakers?

If it's just the one file on the Album it likely is some form of file corruption that is causing issue. Are you able to re-rip the track?

Can you please share the file with Support?

Hi there,

I've ripped all my CDs to flac files. They audio files are organized on a Windows PC using MMW 2024. Additional I'm using MMA and keep my collection synced by the wireless sync function. The goal is to have one database where I can see which track has been played and how often. I like to hear my collection randomly and mixed while I'm driving my car. There is one imported playlist and somtimes I remove the already played tracks.

Anyway, a few days ago I was listening to a song (You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, Leo Sayer, 20 Greatest Hits) as suddenly there was only silence but nothing else. The first thought has been that there's something wrong with the car hifi - I've got this car in 12/2025. But no, other songs were played without any problem. The second thought was that there is something wrong with Android Auto, but everything else except this song works fine. Then I thought that something during the ripping process failed and the flac file is corrupted. But no, the song played well on MMW, but not on MMA. Even a deletion of this song on my mobile and a re-sync didn't changed this.

Is ist possible to create flacs that could not be played on MMA? If anyone is interested, I'll be able to share this song to reproduce the problem as well as for debugging purposes.

I'm keen on your answers :D

Regards
