Is Playcount (seen in Properties) updating in MMA itself, or is it failing to register plays in MMA itself too?

We are back to square one again. No plays have been updated since 19/05 and auto generated Recently Added Content playlists are not appearing.

I thought going into the App settings and deleting the cache would work but no. Worked once, so that was probably not cause/effect.

Any ideas?

So. I just cleared the memory cache on the phone and tried syncing. This time MMW updated 330 files according to the sync window, and all the play data has been updated.
I don't know whether clearing the cache and restarting the phone was the key.
All the playlists are there and the last played track was timed at 10 minutes ago.
I'll see how things go over the weekend. Fingers crossed.

Thank you. Have done that but no change. The play count still stops on 4th May.
I don't know if this is relevant but when you expand the file tree in MMW for the phone all plays are 0 and last played 'never' even for tracks that I know have been played. The file tree also has two 'recently added content' playlists that the phone isn't recognising.
The phone does have the play count information for the last couple of days.

Please update MMW to the current version.

The Andriod version is 2.1.2.1304
The Windows version is 2024.2.1.3213
I have only ever used USB sync as that has always worked fine. I have checked that Auto Sync data option is ticked.

Which actual builds of MMW (Help > About) and MMA are you using and are you doing a USB or wi-fi Sync. Auto-sync file metadata from the device to the PC is enabled?

I use media monkey (Android) on my S22 and have the windows version on the PC.
On 29th May all recording of play counts stopped. Media Monkey is always 24 hours late in reporting play counts when syncing the phone and computer. I tried adding an new album, as somethimes that tricked MM intoupdating the playcounts. Nothing worked so I ended up deleting MM from the phone and restarting.
That worked on 4th May. That was the last time that the playcount updated. Nothing that I have played sice 17:00 on th May has been recognised.
Whilst the sync setting is set for "all playlists" the Recently Added Content one is not updating on the phone, all thought the tracks are in the phone's library.
I update via USB and have been doing this succesfully since I downloaded MM 5 years ago.
Any ideas - MM is up to date on both platforms but there hasn't been a recent update of either, nor have Android or Windows updated to my knowledge.
