Hello Lowlander.

Apologies for the late response. Life!

I installed the debug, but I also installed the beta version (coherence in databases). So far, the problem hasn't reoccurred. Yet. I'll come back and will edit this message if that changes. But so far Beta version 2027 is not producing the error.

Please capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=86643

This will help a developer analyze why this happens on your setup.

Exception access violation error

Build: 2024.2.2.3222
Normal install. Then Portable install to see if it solved the issue.

For the life of me, I can't figure out the problem. It is a random exception access violation error.

Restarting in safe mode gives the same access violation.

I tried this (found elsewhere on this forum): "Might want to try to exclude MediaMonkeyEngine.exe from DEP (Data Execution Prevention).
Under System Properties-> Tab Advanced -> Performance -> Tab Data Execution Preventions. Then select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those i select.

See if the solves the problem. If not revert setting back."

But that doesn't work because the system says that MediaMonkey must have DEP enabled.

The program still functions. Music plays. But it's annoying.
