Sounds more like a networking issue than a software issue?

not sure what is going on but this morning MM5 found the server instantly ...

I find that MM4 and 5 both, client, takes minutes before it discovers the MM server. I have reported this before and all suggestions followed. Restart, reboot server, reboot router change port etc.
Tonight I tried WMP and it found the service running immediately.

This appears to be a problem with MM not my setup
