It does help! Thanks!
I wished for MM and Android compatability for years and it is finally bug-free enough that I am using it every single day for at least 6hrs a day.
The way i see it, for the size of my collection and the way I manage my music, there is no other option for me but MMA. I'm just excited to see the UI improve and open skinning begin so that MMA can capture a larger market share than just us enthusiasts.

You guys have actually been extremely responsive on the bugs I have submitted. So thanks again for that!

If I were to ballpark it, I'd say that 1.0.4 should be released 'any day'. That's in quotations because there are only a couple of critical bugs left to fix, but they're tricky ones related to intermittent sync failures, and while we work on those, we'll continue to fix some of the lesser bugs and/or minor features that have little risk of regression. Our general philosophy has always been to release 'when it's ready' rather than set an artificial deadline that often results in suboptimal triage decisions.

We are however, listening to your feedback as well, and beginning to plan for 1.0.5 and beyond. We'll be able to give you a better picture of what features are planned for the next release once this one is out the door.

Hope that helps.

That's always been the official stance, especially as any deadlines only end up being passed angering users. MMA is even more complex as Android is so diversified.

Is that the official stance of the MM team?

No, dates aren't planned, things will be ready when they're ready.

Well, you boys have come a long way with MMA. I remember the days back when rebooting my phone resulted in the app deleting my entire music collection... Thanks again for fixing that by the way.

However, when I look at the road map on mantis I see lots of changes slated for 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 and I'm wondering, in human years, what those milestones really mean. Is there any way you could give us an idea as to when we might see this thing come out of beta, when 1.0.4 is supposed to finish, and when 1.0.5 issues will start to be addressed? I hear skinning is slated for 1.0.5, but I'm trying to figure out what that really means.

Let's face it, it's either iSyncr and iTunes or MMA and MMW when it comes to being able to sync ratings playlists etc on android. In my opinion MediaMonkey still offers the superior solution technically, and that's why I'm a paying member of both MMA and MMW. However, there is a long way to go in terms of the interface being beautiful, intuitive, and customizable.

I guess I'm wondering when we are going to transition out of the bug fixing phase and into the ease of use and ease on the eyes phase.

Any important dates to look forward to?!
