There are 2 possible solutions to this dilemma:
One way of moving your songs to a new location while retaining references in the Library would be to move all of your songs using Songs-DB 1.4 beta running on your XP machine (e.g. move them from the file server to your machine) and all references/playlists will be updated with the new location.
Alternatively, you could move the files (outside of Songs-DB) and use the 'retrieve moved files' function to re-import all of your missing files (once retrieved, all references will be updated so that playlists will function correctly).
In either case, I'd back up the database, though, in order to be certain that no data will be lost in case of a problem with retrieval of some files (not to imply that there are any known bugs in this functionality, but it's always a good idea to back up).
