Running MM on two partitions

by Adveser » Wed Jul 08, 2009 6:19 pm

As mentioned in another thread, This is the solution to a problem I've been having regarding playback.

But now, I have another issue I'd like to hear opinions about.

Basically, I have MM running on two partitions and want to be able to import whatever settings I have for one instance to the other.

I didn't notice any kind of INI files that are doing this sort of thing, so after looking through the registry I found the following string:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MEDIAMONKEY

So what I want to ask is if I copy this set of strings and add them to the second installs OS, will this give me the same settings for both?

I have installed all plugins for both as well as installed the scripts.

Any advice or solutions to do this?
