Thanks friend, but your solution would never work. I had already tried that. The thing that finally worked for me was when I added the /nosplash to my shortcut. The problem was a question that was being asked behind the shortcut that I couldn't get to. Anyway, thank you for suggesting an answer.

You can use Alt+Tab to get to the error screen stuck behind the popup, then hit the "Enter" key.

Error Report: Problem Querying the Database

Hey Folks, seems like my database got corrupted awhile back and I can't do much at all now. I get errors out the wazoo and today when I tried to configure my Cowon S9 I got this error message:

There was a problem querying the database: Could not retrieve data "SELECT FoldersHier.IDFolder FROM FoldersHier WHERE FoldersHier.IDChildFolder in (SELECT DISTINCT Songs.IDFolder FROM Songs WHERE (NOT(Songs.TrackType=2) AND NOT (Songs.TrackType - 1))) *:database disk image is malformed (11,21)

Cancel Retry Ignore

exception EOleException in module d_WMDM.dll at 0001C5EA.

Now, here's my main issue. I know the problem is the database but I can't delete it. I've tried moving it to another folder and then when I relaunch MM it just hangs on the splash screen. I have to use Task Manager to close it and as the splash screen is closing I can seen an error message right behind that. I guess if I could get to it I could probably click on it but it's coming up behind the splash screen so I can't even see it. That said, how can I safely rebuild my database. The articles here mention location, which I already know but there's no specific information on fixing this problem.
