In that case I suggest you offer an affected file to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... ets/Submit

It's best to upload to a cloud service like dropbox and to add the link to it in the ticket.

I downloaded and installed the MM Codec Pack yesterday. It did not seem to make a difference.

I just followed your suggestion to disable the volume leveling and that did not make a difference either.

What MP4 playback solution do you have for MediaMonkey (QuickTime, MM Codec Pack, Native Windows support)?

If it isn't, try disabling Play > Level Playback Volume in the main menu and play an affected file in MediaMonkey again. Does this still result in no volume on playback?

I just tried playing a few of the problematic files in VLC Media Player. They sounded fine there.

Have you tried playing them with other software to see if it is the same result? Perhaps the DRM protection is causing the issue in the first place?

Please forgive if this is a duplicate post ~ cannot see my earlier one. I have discovered over 500 music files in MM that have Track Volume of null. Therefore they "play" but no sound. These are MP4 files. Tried to convert them but MM says that they "cannot be decoded, possibly due to DRM restrictions". Downloaded the MM Codec extension but that has made no difference.

Is there any way to make these files usable; i.e. playable with sound again?

Thanks!
