Hi, I like to listen to audio books a lot. For me to change the speed between 0,75x to 3x would be a real benefit.
The speed of reading is often much too slow to enjoy.
On mobile devices that is quite common, but when i want to listen to on the PC, I need the support of MediaMonkey.

1. Not sure I want to get that complicated with using a third-party app to control the speed. I guess I'd need more info on that. Apps like Musicolet and Maple have this built in.

3. Tells you where you are in a long audio file I meant displays on the screen, not really TELLS you literally! My poor phrasing.

5. Displays the 'notes' text embedded in audio files Mp3 and wma files have the capacity to save text descriptions within the file. It would be useful to me to have the player be able to access that text and display it. Don't know if there is any Android player that does that. My podcatcher AntennaPod SEEMS to do this, but now I'm not sure. It may be just linking the descriptions from the podcast source and not from within the file.

1. Use https://www.ronimusic.com/winamp.htm to control playback speed thru DSP Plugins. HINT: To lower Lag use Wave output with Low Buffer.
2. Usually holding Prev/Next sends REVD/FFWD commands, also you can remap them in Options Hotkeys.
3. You men voice announcement? It could be made to react on button press, but I have not seen a script do that.
4. You can enable Bookmarking for any type of media in options -> Player -> Playback rules
5. Again it can be easily made with script depending what you mean by Notes?

I have been looking in vain for a podcast player that does these things, in order of importance:
1. Playback speed control (mainly faster - 1.2 - 1.7) with no pitch shift,
2. Allows you to fast forward / rewind using the forward / back switches on my Bluetooth headset (not jump to next / previous track!),
3. Tells you where you are in a long audio file (time display, preferably elapsed and total),
4. Saves the position you have reached in a file across app closes and reboots,
5. Displays the 'notes' text embedded in audio files, not just the picture,

I reading the info on the website, I cannot divine whether MM does all this. It looks like it will do 2 and 5, but I cannot find any reference to the rest. I care little about appearance or sound manipulation (other than speed).

I am using a player (Maple) that does 1, 3 and 4 and there is no 'settings' option to select 3 and 5.

Can someone help with this? Thanks!
