Re: Jittery Scrolling - Artwork Browsing [#17739]

Hi jaype, I don't believe I ended up tracking the jittery album art issue on Mantis, after we discovered it was a rendering bug and not related to caching. Could you do us a favor and check if the issue is still present in the most recent RC-1 build ( without the DPI compatibility mode workaround)?...

Re: Artist tree column resizes when dragging MM from one monitor to another

Apologies, I had thought I replied. MediaMonkey is supposed to save the window size in persistent.json when it closes. Perhaps the window size isn't saved if you close it while it's maximized. Try setting the non-maximized window size, then without maximizing it, close and reopen MediaMonkey. Does i...

Thanks - Looks like that was a bug. To be fixed as: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18575

Re: Specify fixed case words for Case Checker addon [#18292]

I believe you can simply add "Lana Del Ray" to the custom string list in the dialog, and it'll work as expected. Make sure you're using a 5.0.2 beta build for the most recent version of Case Checker.

Re: MoveNext MoveBack getSelectedTracklist

For anyone else who may be wondering: The issue came from calling requirejs before localRequirejs. Because other addons' _add scripts can be included in the code run by requirejs, the global variable __scriptName may change, leading to MediaMonkey attempting to load the incorrect local file. There a...

Re: MM5 - moving the preview-panel into column-filter

You can rearrange the UI layout in Tools>Options>Layout. I believe the Preview panel can be placed either on the left pane or the right pane. So if you want the now playing list to take the full screen, you can move it to the left. Also, I believe you can move the player from the bottom to the middl...

Re: MoveNext MoveBack getSelectedTracklist

Yes; CommitAsync writes changes to the database and possibly to tags, depending on the situation. Without a commit, changes only exist in memory. However, it's possible for the changes to be committed from other pieces of code. So you'd either need to only edit after they click OK, or to return the ...

Re: MoveNext MoveBack getSelectedTracklist

localRequirejs('dialogs/include'); is the correct syntax, if "include.js" is located inside the dialogs folder. I've tested it and it works. Are you sure you spelled the file's name correctly? Have you tried putting include.js in your addon root and just doing localRequirejs('include')? Re localReq...

Re: MoveNext MoveBack getSelectedTracklist

Great! 1) I take the value of the textbox and save it to the tracklist using: trackLst.getValue(currentlySelectedTrackIdx).title = qid('edtSongTitle').controlClass.value; I didn't expect the database field to be updated until I did a commitAsync. I don't want the value saved to the database until th...

Re: MoveNext MoveBack getSelectedTracklist

Your analysis looks correct. But please note that the TrackProperties dialog only shows the previous & next buttons when there's one song selected. Its MoveNext and MoveBack functions actually modify the track list to change the focused item. (See fixFocusedIndex in dlgTrackProperties; the this.trac...

Hi, could you install a debug build & submit the crash log ID in this thread or a support ticket? (item 4a here: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643) Debug builds allow us to examine what caused the crash by submitting logs.

Re: SQL Editor 1.0.1

ah, good point!
And ok - The reasoning behind the "after as" suggestion is fair, though it may be a bit of a chore to add. But I can easily fix that parentheses issue. Are there any other characters, other than commas and parens, that can surround SQL keywords?
